1. Cut out the pattern.
2. Glue the piece into a ring, with the tab inside so that the segments
of the dome are right next to each other.
If you turn it so that the lines are on the inside,
the dome will be all white, but it is a little tricker.
3. Glue one of the smallest tabs inside, bending the segments inward so
that part of the edges of the segments are right together.
I find easiest to use a flat toothpick to get just
enough glue on the tab to make it sticky, not wet.
Continue all the way around.
4. Repeat the gluing process with the middle tabs.
5. Glue the last tabs, if you are careful, the points of the segments
will come together in the center of the dome.
6. If black lines are a problem, you can cover them with white
correction fluid.
7. Put glue around the edge of the COMPTEL cylinder and slip the dome
over it.
8. Glue the other dome to the EGRET cylinder in the same way.
